Delta Morning

The inspiration for this project arose from my morning drives along California highways 4, 160, and 12. As I traveled through the Delta—passing its many islands, quaint towns, and picturesque bridges—I found myself captivated by its charm. I fell in love with this rustic, somewhat rundown region and often daydreamed about the vibrant past of its old yacht clubs and bait-and-tackle shops. There is a unique magic in watching the sun pierce through the morning fog that’s difficult to put into words. Through this book of photographs, I hope to transport you to this enchanting place and convey the essence of what made me fall in love with it.
